Holga 120 CFN - Fujicolor Superia 400 - scanned negative - July 2010

I believe one must start with an exploration of his origin to finally be able to go somewhere (wherever, but just move). the origins of the art tradition in my country are drenched in abstract surrealism and landscape paintings. well, i know i'm posting things in such a random manner and not really talking about the underneath reflection but hopefully i'll make a more consistent website and link to it soon. i'm using dA to share things pretty much when i feel the need to share. feedback is always highly appreciated. in whatever form - you may as well just tell me how the images make you feel, or what they make you think of, or comment on the aesthetic/technical aspect of them. thank you!

i like this a lot. the colors are like slightly overcooked eye-candy. the window within the film frame, and the sprocket holes, make it a picture about layering, openings and sight itself, as well as the Canadian woods out there with the lovely spectral trees.

i was in Ottawa in 2006 and went to the National Gallery, i remember a lot of wonderful abstract painting.

Isabelle, i'm leaving this morning for Virginia to visit one of my sons, back Saturday. have a good rest of the week, i'll see you later
